a year ago, i was so worried because marc can’t say any word at 2 years of age. he just mumbles some syllables but he can’t really produce any word at all. he follows simple instructions though. and that made me somehow confident that nothing is wrong with him.

at 2 years and 1 month, he can say the words come, no, mame, papa, baba, and mac (his name). he can point to and name some letters. when i ask him, ‘how old are you?’, he’ll answer, ‘two!’. and he already knows how to count from one through ten, “one, two, ee, po, pa, si, sibn, eigh, nine, te!”

these are some of the milestones i’ve seen in marc’s speech development in just a month.
