I have to admit I often fear the thought of aging… when I have to let go of my children because they have to build families of their own, and it will only be I and hubby who will just be left in our “empty nest”. This will surely be lonely. However, I also do not want the idea of being dependent with my children for I know they have to prioritize the families that they have to support. I talked to hubby about this, and we discussed the possibility of getting ourselves a term insurance to secure our future. But we are having second thoughts because of the unfortunate things that happened in several pre-need companies in the Philippines. So we are looking at all options.

We both agreed that we really have to tighten our belts for now in order to be certain that when our retirement comes, we will not have to much anxieties and we will be enjoying our remaining days with each other.
