I have never been a couch potato. During my younger years, I just watched the television when I really had nothing to do. I did not spend so much time staring at it. I was always busy with a lot of stuff, that was why television viewing never took so much of my time.
But now, the television has been our constant companion here. We cannot live and we will go crazy without it. The moment the two kids wake up, I immediately turn the tv on. I know it is not a good thing to make the kids stare at the tv the whole day, but it’s one way of keeping our sanity intact and of keeping in touch with the outside world.
Tomorrow, I will be asking my husband to buy another tv stand so we can place a television inside our room.
