homemaker in the making

Upon seeing this cartoon, my memory was kind of refreshed. I can still remember the very first day I decided to devote my whole time to my family.

Homemaking tasks seemed daunting at first. Without getting any household help, I had to manage my time in taking care of the babies, cooking for my family, cleaning the whole house, doing the laundry, and all other things inside the house. It was very hard for me at first since I lived like a princess prior to getting married. I tried decorating the house with some chandeliers from Murray Feiss, and I think it helped a lot in pushing me to do my best since I was very satisfied with how it made our simple abode look a little elegant.

And the thing was, I did not know how to cook then.

I was trying my very best to cook delicious foods for my family. I thought my husband’s taste buds were very hard to please since his mother is a good cook. He was very supportive though, but I could sense the disappointment by just one look in his face.

But with constant practice, things are getting better little by little.

hi, I am stay-at-home mother of 2 girls and it’s quite challenging but satisfying at the same time. I do a bit of cooking but mostly it’s my hubby who prepares the meal.
