When I was a lot younger, I have always been in search of the most effective whitening products. One of my frustrations. But after the two kiddos came into my life, I have been more focused about our family life that I somehow forgot about this. Now that the kids are getting bigger and are getting accustomed to other people, I can now find the time for “vanity”.

Homemaking tasks seemed daunting at first. And the thing was, I did not know how to cook then.

I was trying my very best to cook delicious foods for my family. I thought my husband’s taste buds were very hard to please since his mother is a good cook. He was very supportive though, but I could sense the disappointment by just one look in his face.

But with constant practice, things are getting better little by little.

I want to share to all homemakers out there this one quote I chanced upon someone else’s blog. I found this really cute, and it definitely touched my heart.

When I started being a mom, so many things changed in just an instant. The ladies’ stuff inside my bad was suddenly replaced by baby’s needs like milk, bottles, diapers and others.

Motherhood really entails a lot of sacrifices to get it through. But I tell you, it is all worthwhile. My kids are God’s precious gifts to me, and I want to take care of them for as long as I am alive.

I wish my mom is still here to celebrate the joys of motherhood with me. Sometimes I can’t help but think that if only she got sick 10 years later than she did, she should have been saved. Medical technology is generally improving as the years pass by. There are a lot of medical gadgets used by the practitioners to treat their patients such as spirometers. Oh well, that’s life.

Sometimes, it annoys me when I hear my baby cry so hard. He seems to manipulate me by crying so hard to get what he wants. I don’t want to say this and I don’t intend to compare, but Kuya Marc wasn’t like this when he was at Baby Matt’s age. I don’t want to give in to his whinings but I’m guilty sometimes because I get so irritated so I just give in.

I remember when we ate at a fastfood chain, and I asked him not to play with the hand dryers, he cried at once, and I could not do anything to stop him from wailing.

It worries me sometimes thinking that this may affect his emotional development. I’m afraid I might spoil him. Sometimes I don’t know what to do anymore. When he starts crying so hard, Kuya Marc will get mad and start shouting and crying, too. And sometimes, when I can’t do anything anymore, I just join them and cry also. Char!

My parents both came from not so well-off families. In fact, their fathers are both farmers. But despite the poverty they experienced, I admired how they strove hard to fulfill their dreams of giving the best life they could to their children.

After all they have been through, my brother and I were always reminded to look back to where my parents started. They said that they owe everything to their parents so we should all give them back the respect and love they truly deserve. My father also told us to plan for my grandfather and ask for an insurance quote for him.

I have only one grandparent left, the father of my mom. It has been two years since the last time I have seen him, and that makes me miss him so much. So on his birthday, I am planning to send him a pair of Muck Boots that he could use in his farm.

During my younger years, I was a little fascinated with some anime characters. Oh well, I think I have to mention Doraemon here! That character was really my favorite. I was always rushing home after school hours just to watch that. My brother and I both loved it! Many people may find it weird, but we were really laughing our hearts out whenever we were watching. I knew some of our visitors thought we were crazy and so shallow when they saw our reactions regarding Doraemon. I don’t know, but Doraemon was not just Nobita’s best friend. He was my closest buddy, too! He helped me take all sadness away… I always laughed at how he shields Nobita from the scolding of his mom to his enemies in the neighborhood. He has all kinds of gadgets, protective clothing, and a lot of unimaginable stuff.

Way back in high school and college, I had some friends and classmated who were really anime aficionados. They were all dued-in when it comes to this Japanese cartoon characters. They knew exactly all the names and attributes of any particular character, and could start a conversation from it that would last for an hour. I even discovered that there was an organization in UP for these anime addicts.

Now, I’ve seen an Anime Chat Room for all the aficionados out there. I think the chat room members will have lots of fun here discussing about the different anime characters. This is just FUN, FUN, FUN!

My internet connection is always ON. I never go offline even if I am busy with house stuff. I also use the internet in teaching some preschool concepts to my kids. Somehow, the internet has become my ally. Not to mention how it helps me keep my sanity intact. This leads me to the need of increasing my computer memory.

The kids are always watching their favorite Jolllitown DVD on our television. And so I just watch movies online online so as not to disturb and upset them. I just let them watch anyway since they also learn a lot from them.

Watch movies online, and for sure you will enjoy the collection of wonderful movies you will all enjoy.

Every parent dreams of giving all the best for their children. We all strive hard to make lives easy and comfortable for them. Of course, we also want them to experience their share of trials in life, but as much as possible, we want them to experience a happy and enjoyable way of living.

The list is just incessant when it comes to the things we like to provide for our children. That is why, as early as now, we’ve been working so hard and saving as much as we can to endow them with all the necessities they need.

One of the things we want them to have is a decent home to grow up in. Right now, we still have no house of our own. We have so many plans about it, but, as of the moment, nothing has materialized yet. We haven’t seen a perfect location for our future sanctuary.

We are sort of ideal when it comes to choosing a location. For this is the place where my kids will spend their growing years, we want it to be just perfect for them…. health and security-wise. We will surely be pruchasing a dehumidifier for the two kids.

We’ve searched for some ideas in the internet and we’ve stumbled upon Deep Creek Lake homes. We were so struck and fell in love with the houses shown in the site for those are just perfect for our dream house! Railey Realty has been satisfying their clients for over 30 years now, so maybe they’ll also do the same thing for us when the time comes we are ready to do some transactions with them.

Now, our plans are more concrete now. We already know what we want and how to get it. I hope we’ll reach for our dream very soon.

When hubby and I see Aling Dionisia on the television, we could not really help but guffaw at her new aura and her new way of speaking. Aling D is just extremely entertaining (okay, funny. Char!) She is just sooo different now! Well, who would not know Aling Dionisia?! She is seemingly more popular than her son, Manny Pacquiao!

Everyone seems to laugh at her. But being underprivileged all her life, how can we expect her to speak and act with so much grace and poise? Can we really expect finesse to just come out naturally?

Many people are criticizing Aling D’s totally different and luxurious way of life. Personally, I think there is nothing wrong with how she enjoys the kind of life she is having right now. She worked hard to raise her kids on her own. And for this, I believe she is worthy of every gesture of appreciation Manny and her other children are showing her. Maybe she has been really good to them which made her loved and appreciated. She may not be the most beautiful and acnefree mom there is, but I believe she has been a good mother to her kids which makes her deserving of all the love Manny has been showering her.

I know this is nothing but twaddle. But I just want to express this…

All moms deserve this kind of treatment especially from their kids. I am not just referring to those material things. Children should find ways to express their gratitude to their parents when they are already old. Raising a child is not an easy task to accomplish. All moms deserve the best things in life!

I’ve been blogging for a long time now. If my memory serves me right, I started it in friendster then I moved my thoughts in blogger. After a while, I’ve been busy with so many things such as my full-time job and my family that I didn’t have the time to keep up with my blogging activities. I set everything aside because I wanted to devote most of my time learning how to be a good homemaker. Everything was so difficult at first. But I’ve had a hand on it after some time. Added with a lot of personal emotional ordeals, it was a hard task to accomplish.

Now, I am a full-pledged stay-at-home mom to two boys. At first, it was so hard to accept that I’m fully financially dependent to my hubby. Self-pity set in that I somehow regret agreeing to take full charge here in the house. But I’ve realized that no one could give the best love to my kids but me so everything was taken very well since then. And I was back to blogging so my kids will see how they have developed. When they grow up and see my blog, they’ll surely treasure all the things I’ve documented regarding their growth.

Some moms from the blogging world taught me how to earn through blogging. They told me that getting paid to blog is a very rewarding ‘job’ to do since I still have full control of my time. I can earn and take care of my kids at the same time. Isn’t it fun? I would also like to buy an elliptical for my hubby from my blogging earnings.

I have a lot of things to look forward to. I am so much motivated to do well in my online activities.
